−	Earning this award requires advanced skills, knowledge and devotion. This is the first step towards the greater standard, and those with this award have proved that they are capable and can go beyond the common standard to be better than the rest. A scout with Challenger Qualification will be well recognized within the Troop as it takes great committment and dedication to achieve. A scout with Challenger will have priority in all M-4+ Promotions.	+	This badge has been properly renamed as 'Advanced Award' since 2015.
